Guidelines for Abstract Submission

All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
Figures, graphs, images, diagrams cannot be includedAbstracts must provide an accurate summary of the research conducted, regardless of whether it was conducted in vivo (animal related research reporting must comply with the ARRIVE 2.0 guidelines¹) or in vitro (must comply with the GCCP 2.0 guidelines²).
Abstract title should be limited to 15 words and abbreviations are not to be used.
Abstract content should be limited to 300 words excluding references (a maximum of 3 references could be added separately, not in the abstract’s text).
Figures, graphs, images, diagrams cannot be included.
Please select one topic most relevant for your abstract from the choice of 5 CELASC 2026 research topics listed on the website that will be the conference content pillars (the Scientific Committee reserves the right to assign your abstract to a different topic).
Please choose the desired presentation form (oral or poster) for your abstract. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide on your abstract presentation form after completing the selection of all abstracts.
An automatically generated confirmation will be sent to the presenting author's e-mail address. If you do not receive it within an hour, first please check your spam folder and then contact us at e-mail address abstracts@celasc.org.
If changes need to be made to your submitted abstract, please contact us at the e-mail address above at any time before the deadline. Please do not submit the abstract more than once.
Abstracts will be peer-reviewed.
Please have your abstract proofread for correct spelling, punctuation and grammar.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Physiological research
Accepted posters are to be printed on A0 paper format (dimensions 841 mm × 1189 mm) in portrait orientation.
All submitted abstract authors will be notified by a confirmation e-mail sent to the presenting author’s contact e-mail address (make sure you type in the correct contact e-mail address during the abstract submission process).
Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstract by e-mail by 28 February 2026.

Author’s Registration

Please note that registration of the presenting author is mandatory. The deadline for the presenting author’s registration and payment of a registration fee is 30 April 2026.

If the presenting author has not registered and has not completed the payment of the registration fee by this date, the presentation will be withdrawn from the programme.
